Brand for carbon cycling wheels
Having designed the initial EDCO logo back in 2007, I was asked to refresh the overall corporate identity and setup the new product range. This included the design of a new EDCO hub set for road cycling. This became the NEO·1 hubset with a few special features like; identical spoke length for a single wheel, optimized torque transfer & balance.
Next was a new line-up of carbon rims for both rim & disc brake. Optimized for the new trends in tire sizing and tubeless setup.
As a platform I chose to use Shopify to sell the products direct-consumer. Less flexibility than WP+WC, but less maintenance needed and overall more reliable. Added sales feature is the CSTM (Custom) range, where the user could select decals, colors and bearing options.
The new corporate identity was expanded into marketing platform with a new style that could be easily recognized and featured in many different ways, either image or video.
